Getting Oriented Downtown
Mercedes-Benz Stadium sits in the Castleberry Hill and Vine City corridor on the west side of downtown, hemmed in by the Georgia World Congress Center, State Farm Arena and the interstates. On event days several streets are closed or one-way, and the approach you used last month may not be open. That is why this page is about the venue, not any single team. The venue hosts NFL and MLS games, the SEC Championship Game, the Peach Bowl and other college football events, international matches (Atlanta was a host city for the FIFA World Cup in 2026) and a full slate of stadium concerts. The logistics below apply to all of them; the timing is what changes.

Parking Decks and Lots
The stadium's own lots and the decks around downtown sell out for large events, and many require a pre-purchased pass. Prices on game days are not predictable, and exiting a deck after a sold-out show can take 30 to 60 minutes.
- For charter and hourly service, the client buys an official stadium parking pass in advance and sends it to [email protected] at least 24 hours before pickup. Larger vehicles may require an oversized pass; confirm at checkout.
- With a valid pass, your chauffeur waits on-site and is positioned near your exit when the event ends.
- Without a pass, we offer drop-off and designated-zone pickup only, and any parking fees for waiting nearby are the client's.
- Pick up the pass after you book. Lots sell out well before the event date.
Exit Strategy
Leaving After the Event
Sixty thousand people leave together at the final whistle or the last encore. The usual result is road closures, a rideshare surge and a long walk. The way out depends on the event type:
- Football and soccer: leave five to ten minutes early if you can, or wait inside for 30 minutes. We hold at a meeting point away from the main flow.
- Concerts: the headline set can end near 11:00 p.m. and everyone moves at once. We stage a few blocks out and move in as you message. See concert limo service for artist-night planning.
- Championship days: expect earlier gates and a longer perimeter. We set a timeline with a drop-off, a return time and a backup meeting spot.
- Late departures: if your group will head to ATL or a hotel afterward, we confirm the route before the event so the vehicle is ready.
Hotels & Neighbors
Hotels and Nearby Venues
Guests staying in Centennial Park, Castleberry Hill or Vine City are often within a ten-minute ride, but a short distance can still take a long time on game day. Nearby hotels include the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park, Signia by Hilton Atlanta and W Atlanta Downtown. The adjacent State Farm Arena shares many of the same roads, so if you have both an arena show and a stadium event the same week, the same planning applies.
Event service is booked hourly. Executive Class $105/hr and Executive SUV $120/hr carry a 3-hour minimum; Sprinter $210/hr weekdays, $230/hr weekends; Transit $145/hr; both 5-hour minimum. Where will my chauffeur drop us off at Mercedes-Benz Stadium?
The drop-off point depends on the event, the vehicle and which entrance your ticket uses. For most events we use the Northside Drive approach for cars and SUVs and a separate staging area for vans and Sprinters. We confirm the exact spot from the stadium's current event-day guidance and text it to you before you leave.
What is the plan for getting out after a sold-out event?
We do not try to leave the way everyone else does. We either hold in a pre-purchased stadium lot and walk up to meet you at an agreed point, or we stage a few blocks out and move in when you message. Both avoid the main post-event surge on the streets around the venue.
Can we arrive early for a tailgate or a pre-show dinner downtown?
Yes. Hourly bookings cover the whole evening. Many groups start with dinner at a downtown restaurant or hotel, ride to the venue as gates open, and are collected at the end, all on one booking.
Do you serve the World Cup, SEC Championship and Peach Bowl?
Yes. Large championship events have a stricter perimeter, more road closures and earlier gate times. We build a custom timeline for each: arrival window, drop-off zone, pass requirements and a return plan.
Who buys the parking pass for a charter?
The client buys an official stadium parking pass in advance and sends it to [email protected] at least 24 hours before pickup. With a valid pass, your vehicle waits on-site. Without one, we provide drop-off and a designated-zone pickup only.
Is MARTA a good alternative to a private car?
For solo travelers it can work, and the Vine City and GWCC/CNN Center stations are close to the stadium. For groups, guests in formal attire, anyone with mobility needs or late-night departures, a private vehicle removes the transfers and the crowds on platforms.
