How gratuity works with Prince Limousines
The fare covers your chauffeur, the vehicle and the confirmed route, and your fixed price is confirmed before the ride. Gratuity is added separately. You choose 18%, 20% or 25% when you check out, so nothing is left to calculate at the curb.
Which percentage to choose
A simple guide:
- 18% suits a straightforward airport transfer or point-to-point ride.
- 20% suits a ride with luggage, a meet and greet inside the terminal, or a traffic-heavy route.
- 25% suits a long hourly booking, a large group, a late-running itinerary or a day that changed along the way.
Worked examples
The table that follows uses starting fares and the current hourly rates. Cars have a 3-hour minimum for hourly service, so a one- or two-hour example does not apply. Your confirmed fare may differ with distance and trip details, and the checkout percentage applies to that fare.

Common Questions
How much should I tip a limo or black car driver in Atlanta?
Gratuity is not included in a Prince Limousines fare. At checkout you choose 18%, 20% or 25%, so there is no cash to carry and nothing to calculate afterward. Choose 18% for a straightforward transfer and a higher percentage for a long day, heavy luggage or itinerary changes along the way.
Is gratuity included in the price?
No. The fare covers the chauffeur, the vehicle and the confirmed route. Gratuity is added separately and chosen by you at checkout.
Do I need cash for the chauffeur?
No. Gratuity is selected at checkout, so no cash is needed at the end of the ride.
Should I tip more for a long day or a large group?
A higher percentage is a thoughtful choice for a long hourly booking, heavy luggage, a late-running itinerary or a large group.
